Mindful Presence
Learn to live from a mindful presence that can bring peace to thoughts and emotions.
Mindful presence is the practice of clearly recognising what is actually happening right now. This can be difficult as it requires stopping running from our suffering and facing it in the reality of the present moment. However with gentle exposure and gradual practice it can become peaceful, joyous and healing.
2. Anchor to your Heart-Space
Learn to lead from a heart-mind that is far deeper than your ego-based conflict.
This involves clearly recognising that there is an inbuilt wisdom, love, care, understanding and compassion that just needs to be accessed in order to lead and heal our head-mind or ego. We can do this by breaking down the head-mind/ego into parts, listening to each part with openness and resolving any distress or conflict from a place of deeper knowing.
3. Attune to your Awareness
Learn to love from a awareness that is far beyond your ego-based limitation.
This involves clearly recognising that there is an already accepting and inclusive awareness that just needs to be accessed in order to love and heal our head-mind or ego. We can do this by loosening our sense of self, dissolving the boundaries we create with the external world and attuning to our interconnection with other humans and the universe.
4. Let Go Of Your Thoughts
Disidentifying from thinking is not ignoring thoughts, dismissing thoughts, stopping thoughts, transcending thinking. It is simply ceasing to believe in a thinker. Thoughts can become like vision and hearing. They can be seen, heard and acted upon when necessary.
5. Let Go Of Your Feelings
A negative emotion is not unsafe or dangerous. A negative emotion is not painful or damaging. Negative emotions are universal and not personal. No negative emotion is capable of lasting forever.
6. Let Go Of Your Identity
The ego is a black hole with no centre, pulling experience inward, making everything revolve around it and the idea of a fixed, solid, central and singular identity is a conceptual presumption that falls apart under experiential investigation.
7. Let There Be Awakening
Awakening is not something you, the thinker, does. The most you can do is plant the seeds of practice. Then let go to let them grow.

My experience working with David over a six month period in 2025 was beautiful. He is such a safe space holder and compassionate guide for inner exploration.
